Health Not Recovering

Hi,
I`m Playing as Peter Blood on Captain`s difficulty and noticed that my health is excellent though the bar won`t fully restore (not hit points).
I`ve been to the church, the pastor say`s i`m in excellent health and my wounds will soon recover with rest.
I rest,rest...and rest some more...(crew thinks I must be on a real bender) though my health never recovers.
At the next personal abilities level up (about lvl20 now) I chose `iron contstittution`, though still no change.
So does health become unrestorable through injury or something ?

hello this takes time for me it takes about 3 months if your hero doesnt say im not feeling too well to the priest that means youre healthy (sorr y if everYthing look s weird im writing from my psp)

Hi Beneke, Yeah thats what I say to the priest- I`m not feeln too good and he replies your in excellent health...
Three months aye!! I tried the tavern for a couple o weeks.
Previously (like when I got shipwrecked a couple of times with terrible health on the ghost ship quest) I could pretty much notice my health improving daily staying at the tavern.

i think its random, or it may depend on the amount of health decreased,

heres a tip on passing time:

Go to bermuda and travel to port. Dock, now you should stock up on medicine and food,(LOTS of food and medicine, it also lowers cost if you keep only a small amount of sailors, they will dissapear if you leave longer then about 4 days, however)
Now go to port,
Now go to map mode, you should be inside the circle of rocks. If youre lucky , there wont be any pirate ships in there, now just go tothe center and wait. make sure speed is on X2.5

This is a way to idle in the sea without getting atacked. It can get expensive though

The way i pass time however, is by taking freight missions from the store keepers, it pays well!

Also, after i finished the ship of souls quest, i wasnt fully recovered, until i finished the entire french questline! It doesnt seem like much, but you must wait a month to get the next missions in that one!

Thanks Beneke, puts a bit of perspective on the health/recovery rate.
The manual mentions recovering quicker while not at sea I think.
Got the feeling that if I get into any more bad scruffs I`d soon be recieving negative attribute penalties without being able to recover.

Found some info on this by redCorsair under the topic "Own game experience" and he has a paragragh on "Overall health rate" where he talks about health not recovering after certain amount of damage, and recomends avoiding being damaged in fights to avoid this.
