ok
i am planing for a not long time. and my men is 41 yers old and next to it
write "poor health".
so 1 what it meens?
and 2 how i can make it better?

It means you're old and slow. It also means you need to think about retiring soon. Most pirate careers were measured in months, not years. For you to make it to 41 is pretty good.

There is no way to make it better. You can prevent it from happening a little by getting the Medicine skill when you start the game, or buying the Mystic Herbs and such in the game, but once your health is poor, you're out of luck.
 
The careers in SM Pirates do already last way longer than in Pirates! Gold. Back then, you started out at age 25 and had about ten years (if you never got hurt and had the medicine skill) worth of time to go aroving, now, you start at 18 and go way beyond 40, I´ve even seen some in here being over 50 (ingame, of course <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> ).

Yep yep, in my current game I am 61 years old. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yes I believe it is. Next is "worm food", followed by "fertilizer".
 
What difficulty level are we talking about here? Someone making it to 61 doesn't mean much to me unless it's at Rogue or ideally Swashbuckler level. At Rogue (haven't finished at Swashbuckler yet) pushing it to 40 takes a lot of work.

So those who are posting final ages, post what difficulties too. Also, if you started at that difficulty or if you started low and worked up.

My best was age 42 played completely on Rogue level with Medicine as my skill. He had been in pretty bad health for the last 6 years of his life but with most of the piratin' done all he did was cruise around, collect maps, find cities, and the like, with a very small crew. His effective career ended about age 36.

I am playing at Journeyman started at Jouneryman. And nothing personal Fab, but I do not care what it means to you. It is a personal accomplishment to ME. After all, I payed the money to entertain me, not others. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

And there are many ways to play this game in ADDITION to a higher level to make it challenging and rewarding. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/diomed.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dio" border="0" alt="diomed.gif" />
 
Me thinks Fab all he meant was to share yer experience wid other players at what level an so on yer at, maybe a bit more specific so we know exactly what your say'n mate,cause not everybody plays on de same level <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
