The game only reaches the first loading screen, then the game stops responding. I'm using build 13, and am currently crying. Ok, not really, but you know...

huh? anyway, the game continues after about 5 minutes or so. make yourself a sandwich or something and check if the game has started yet.

No, you see, the game isn't windowed, and whenever going back to desktop/other programs, the game automatically freezes (yes, getting pop-ups is a bitch). So whenever I press the windows button on my keyboard, the game stops responding and I have an ugly black box in the left corner of my screen. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

so, you mean that you wen't to your desktop when the game was still running, and when you tried running the game again after doing whatever you wanted to do, you discovered that the game had freezed, right?

sorry, but i don't know how to solve that. i never do such things.

This time, after the loading screen, the game automatically takes me back to the desktop for no apparent reason.

it's called 'windows logic'. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=")" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> sorry, bit of an odd mood today. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> but either way, you can't play the game any further, so what's the problem? if it freezes, you can't play the game, and if it takes you back to dexktop, you can't play it either, so again, what's the problem? in fact, if it takes you back to desktop you don't have to go through shutting the game down.
