Ahoy!

Starting this thread on the encouragement of Pieter to share a short series of historical documentaries I found on YouTube regarding the english Royal Navy. It touches upon many important events although im sure this is just a drop in the ocean that is naval history - which brings me to the second reason for this post. I was hoping if people know of other documentaries like this regarding the Age of Sail or just naval history in general please share it here so that we can build up a nice archive for those of us who are history junkies

Royal Navy - the King's Ships (1500 - 1599)

Royal Navy - Wooden Walls (1600 - 1805)

Royal Navy - Steam, Steel and Dreadnoughts (1806 - 1918)

Not sure if I should be proud or ashamed of this:

But for sure, there are valuable lessons to be learned from this history!

And maybe we can do things along the same lines again.
But... ya know... how about skipping on the oppression this time...?
