Solved Hoist The Colors: Finding The Tavern

I have spent a solid thirty minutes searching for this tavern. My main problem is the directions the NPC's give: "When you enter the city, turn left and follow the pier." So what counts as the city? I understand that you start in Tortuga Port, but is that the city? If not, how do I get to the city?

Any help would be great.

EDIT: Never mind. I was being dumb and completely missed the rest of the pier. Sorry about the unnecessary post.
