Hostile land pirates..

i was walking around in tortuga and then i stole someones money and died. (becuase it was poison..)

so i wake up in the tavern room. and the girl who saved me tells me the pirates wants me dead for some reason. i check the realtions and it has not changed. i am also using the pirates flag.

so now every npc in ALL the pirates towns attacks me.. and this is kinda stupid so how do i fix it? i tried to kill everyone but all the new npcs attacks me too...

i talked to the pirate leader in tortuga.
but when he asks me i have a problem with pirates i can only tell him that i changed my mind, or that i dont have the money..
(i had 61gold at the time) i dont know if this befriend the pirate feature works. but will this fix the angry land pirates? the sea pirates is still friendly.. is this a bug?

please tell me how to make them friendly again... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />o)

Uhm... good question. Usually the relations with land characters are restored by going to sea or the worldmap or so. Did you try that?

yes i did. i travelled to another island .. nevis but they were still hostile.. i used the worldmap

damn i got the same problem, but with a new character. so this is kinda game breaking and i dont want to start a new game. is it something i can do. like could you tell me how to change some code that makes the land pirates friendly? like disable that whole town gets hostile thing. or try to trigger the code that makes them friendly. the one that should have happend when i enterd sea mode
