How in the great blue hell do I land on islands!?

Hey fellas, only had this for a few days so far and can't seem to land my ship on various islands with beaches.

For instance, there are islands with ports that are hostile and have beaches where I can moor my ship, however I don't have the "Sail to" option to sail to.... well anywhere.

Hence making it impossible for me to wander around all the cool new islands you guys added.

Am I simply missing an interface option, do I need to purchase all the maps for the islands so they display places I can beach my ship?

I am running build 14 and the little fix pack that were linked over at the MODDB site.

Any help appreciated as I love this game and what you guys have done with it.

Take a look at the Build and Forum FAQ, specifically the part that talks about Beta 1 and REALISTIC settings

They are on by default in Beta 1 and this means you need to physically sail to the place before you can fast travel there (same as tavern etc)

The FAQ just says that realistic mode is on by default

I thought there was something in the Beta documentation about what Realistic Game Mode does.
