I Cannot open the game!

I've installed the game properly, but when i try to start it, i just see this turning steering wheel while my computer feels itself comfortable in a status of frozeness...

no message just the turning steering wheel...

i've got a slow machine. only 1k P3 and a GeForce 4 in it. But that should do.

Same black screen issues. I have an Athlon 1.3 & a GeForce FX5200 w/ 128mb. I've tried all the troubleshooting tips given from Atari but no salami. HELP!!!!!

I had this very same problem when I first got the game. It had to do with my DirectSound settings. I was playing Bloodlines at the time and had to set my sound settings to Basic acceleration. You should run dxdiag and check your directsound settings. If they are not at full, then you should change that.

If that doesn't work, there's another fix I remember seeing. You should do a forum search. Probably could have saved you alot of waiting in the first place.
