I need some help with a map

I have a treasure map that says to search east of Campeche. The only thing is, I have been unable to find anything just east of Campeche. My map only has 2 stone head rocks, a dead tree and the X, so any advice you can give me for tracking this treasure would be great. Thanks in advance.

And just to let you know, I know everyone has different maps, but im looking for good strategies for finding the treasures that dont have water or cities on the map.

try searching west from the shore to the far east of Campeche.

will it be directly east of Campeche? Or is there a chance it is slightly north or south of Campeche? And thanks for the help.

A bit to either side, but most likely all the way across.
