Idea: add large map when player been on islands or dungeons...

Today I got new idea for POTC Build mod when I am lost my way in Redmond dungeon. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jackhat.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":j2" border="0" alt="jackhat.gif" />

Can possible to make new larger map when player been on islands or dungeons (which bee shown when player want it with clicking a key on keyboard or clicking on map tab in such as inventory – example of possible place where map can be added).

What you think about this my idea?

Yes but I have question and suggestion about it.

Is map show player current position in islands or dungeons? And my suggestion is these: make map wit “fog of war” for unexplored places and don’t show mark where is traps or chest or danger places are.

This adds more challenge. (least for me) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
 
It doesn't show you your position on the location; you have to read the map yourself. Coding it in so your location IS displayed would be extremely complicated, because then you'd have to make a map that is 100% accurate to the location, which is really not easy at all. Actually, as far as islands are concerned: We only have one proper map for one island, being Khael Roa. That one was made by Petros. For all other islands we currently used the SLiB maps which are not accurate to the land paths and town locations in our game. We need new <i>correct</i> maps. The dungeon maps do contain the chest locations as you can see on my site and we can't remove those because they're part of the image file. But we CAN add additional texts on the maps through code. Which means we can also have these texts appear only after you've found the chest. i haven't forgotten about my map. it's just that i need to get myself to go to isla muelle and make a proper map of the city, and the game hasn't been very nice to me lately.

headwinds, crashes, the lot. anyway, the sea and rest of the island is done, as well as the highly ornamental namebox.
