Do anyone have exp in character of PotC modeling???

I meen I always liked posibility in PotC to wear armor (especialy blaze)... But I always hatet, that armor uses the same model as charakter without armor... Then I saw 3 models ... I gues imported from SLiB or AoP:CT... The main 3 charakters have diferent model with armor (Hero.gm, Espinosa.gm, aaand one more)... Could anyone make diferent model for blaze with armor?? Logicly it only neads to (somehow) transfered armor (Copy --> Paste ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blah:" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ?) from one model to another... Is this even posible????

I'll could try to do it my self... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/type_1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":nk" border="0" alt="type_1.gif" /> but I know nothing about Game 3D modeling... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> Then I gues texture maping... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> Later Animating... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> and ect... (My knowing of 3d ends with AutoCad program... And I gues its far away from game modeling <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> )

P.S. It's not request, It's IDEA... If someone will do something like this, he could do 'Revolution" in armor skining...
 
I recall Maximus once sent me those armors free of the character skins. Not sure if I still have that somewhere. Perhaps Chris Roupé knows something; he said he did some succesful tests with character modeling. You can try to figure out how far you can get with Inez Dias' Tool though.
 
I tried it once, you can extract the armour from the aop models with the tool. But the problem is: it uses the AOP animation, so it looks rather weird on a potc model, because the armour will move too!
