Invalid text??

When I do the bit where I have to sneek into Oxbay. When I go to see the ladies <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> With that french guard man, when I come up to the gate to go out the guard comes up to me and he won't say anything it just says "Invalid text" from then on when I'm speeking to anybody. Wierd.

Any ideas anyone?

Are you using stock PotC or Build 12? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

The build 12. I've already completing the game a few times, it didn't happen then but it's happening now.

Have you tired reinstalling the Build? Maybe some file has been corrupted (bribed my M$, heheh)?
