Isabella's quest: any tips to find salvatore's boat?

Hello, i'm talking about one of the latest steps, when , from Bermudas, u gotta move to Portobello.
Should i attack the ship when it is near from the city (in the middle of the sea), or i can just wait it in Portobello?
I'm having problems, since logbok updated saying i wasn't in time (even tho i had still 5 days out of the 15).
If u have to find it in the sea, before it enters portobello, does any1 know the route, the kind of ship (is it spanish?), and maybe the name ? (since i read the name is different from the one wrote on your log)

Nice, it'll be easier to find it.
But still, that ship leaves San juan moving to PortoBello, which route should it take, in your opinion?
Does it move between puerto rico and nevis isle, or hispaniola and puerto rico?
I tried both but missed the boat twice, so i either have to fail that quest somehow, or maybe i am doing some big mistakes

sail as fast as you can to Porto Bello, when you manage to be there before the time is running out for the quest, switch to the tactical map close to the Porto Bello port and voila: the ship with Isabella on it will be there and hostile towards you. Now you only need to board it. Don't sink it ;)

I never saw this ship on the world map. Did anybody else see it on the world map? I'm just curious...

Quests ships on the world map appear with a different coloured sails (Im pretty sure) ;)

Quite correct.

There may be more than this but this is what I know so far;

Orange = Quest ship you must fight

Green = Quest ship that you must talk to (no fight)

Purple = Non-generic quest ship

Gold = Golden Fleet.
