i was wonderin were to get land???? cause i want to buy some and start a community, i tried building a building in the jungle for some $#!ts and giggles but you could walk through the walls and could not use it. im using build 13 with update 3 and micro patch


any help would be greatly appreciated

With Couch Captain Charles Building mod you can basicly erect buildings wherever you want. But it is true that they don't react to light and that you can walk through, it's an experimental mod that was kept in the Builds because there are no others, and a 'buggy' Buildingset was considered better than no Buildingset at all - if you do not like it, anyway you just don't have to use it...

I don't understand what you mean by 'could not use it'? Normaly there should be someone in the building you've erected (unless it's the box), you just have to switch in 1st person view and talk to him. Depending on what sort of building it is, how many time passed since your last visit etc, the dialog will be different. Be aware that some random nasty events can appear - slave riot, pirate raid, etc.
Personaly I enjoy this mod - once I had completly transformed Falaise de Fleur beach, it had become my pirate base for looting the French trade routes : I could repair my ship here and there were forest everywhere. That was funny!

In the future it is possible that another way of building your estate would exist, with less liberty but less 'buggy'. Read the topics about the Location Remodeling Campaign, and you shall understand! (in the Brainstorming section of this forum)
