Great work as always @Jack Rackham

Doing a full run through of this quest in BNH and found an error in the Bessop_slave_dialog.c file (line 118) common to BNH and current NH:
was link.l1.go = "hostel_sketch3";
should be link.l1.go = "hostel_sketch4";
This stops the quest and you have to use ctl-alt-del to close the game.

Think it looks like it should an "exit" instead. "hostel_sketch4" is triggered some seconds later when the med.bag is traded. I'll test it to be sure. :yes

Found one other issue - but I think it is a BNH engine issue. When Jupiter is to kill the Maroon 7 and you take the shovel, Jupiter does not fight - he draws the pole but does not attack. Legrand also is prevented from attacking as per the code. I don't know if this also happens in NH 14 as I have been focused on the Latest beta testing for BNH.

BNH has an issue that you or your officers cannot attack the soldiers on a smuggling shore and no reason has been found in the code so it must be an engine issue.
 
I have finished the run right through Gold bug now. and found no other issues other than needing to pay careful attention to details provided in the gameplay. Minor frustrations only in completing the set tasks such as the ingredients of gun powder. Took me 10+ times to get the water to boil in making nitre.

The improved walk files are good and I need to see the graphics for the fireworks in NH 14 as they are diminished in the BNH engine.

I was primarily using the WIKI walkthrough for information on how to do it (minimizing game time)- found out you need to take more notice in-game and have the volume up a bit for my ears LOL.

I was pleased to see at least one game that you actually "get the treasure" at the end - nearly all the movies etc. have the hero loosing it all at the end for some moral BS.

It would be good for the GB to morph into free play after the end of the story and that the treasure is divided up between the 3 parties as the little part of the POTC world you have created is so good and would enable further use of the work you have put into it. I'm not sure how hard it would be though. You must have modified a lot of the normal code to get all of this to work.
