little problem starting the game

hello fellow pirates

i've a little problem starting the game.

when i start the game. after loading the engine etc. the screen turns black and stay black until you try ctrl alt del.

black is a nice colour but i rather dont want to see it when starting my favorite game.

someone help please.

im running on 14a6

Did you follow <i>Standard Procedure</i> during installation, which is:

2) Remove the folder RESOURCE\MODELS\locations\DECKS
3) Extract the Build 14 Alpha version on top of your game

6) Reset the controls to default!
7) Change the game's settings, controls, etc. and play<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
