Location cloning

I´m cloning a lot as a hobby. Sometimes I make a logic mistake. This results in that terrible black screen when starting a new game.

Even when the problem is cleaned away (and new game ok again) IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ADD NEW LOCATIONS. Screen black. This is very frustrating because my QC variations was rather big...

Anyone one Cloner had this problem? One mistake and it won´t let you do anything more!
 
Nathan Kell, this morning I found it: Very simple. The number of locations was limited to 400 in the game.

For others trying to learn by themselves: MAX_LOCATIONS is in Program/GLOBALS. Just raise it.

Sorry for not replying earlier, but I was on vacation. But I wouldn't have been able to solve that problem anyway, so it's great that you have found out that most important fact. I'll put that into the tut right away.

Ok, cloning´s fun.

Just loke the game consists of a lot of locations, each location is built up of certain pieces like houses, trees etc etc.

Is it in our reach to grab these taverns, churches or whatsoever and "compose" new places of interest?
 
You mean like taking Oxbay town and adding a church to it? Or making a street longer?

That is possible, but as Oxbay town is one big model you would have to remodel that one. And unfortunately i know nothing about modeling.
