true, but sometimes people just want to kill EVERYBODY. .....which i sometimes get when those buggers nailed me with an expensive repair bill.

Using my old original game (german, I looked around for an english one for a short time but couldn't find any), downloaded 13.0 from the Gamestar-Website, then realized this wouldn't work (couldn't enter inventory, for example), so I got the 13.3 update and installed it. All problems were solved except the store. Oh, and the tailor shop, but I couldn't care less about that one.

While we are at locked doors: Doors I found locked which shouldn't be locked are the store and the tailor shop in Falaise de Fleur as well as the door out of that zone towards the harbor. In fact the only door working in that zone is the one back to the city center. And - as in this post numerously stated - the sudden locking of the door in the Tobias-Oxbay-Tavern-Quest.

In both cases I suspect a failed trigger. You're not supposed to leave without Tobias, but the door stays locked after you butcher the soldiers. And you're not supposed to leave the zone of the Falaise de Fleur Shop or reenter it until you lost your mate, but the doors stay locked anyhow.

Lemme guess: Try reinstalling game, then build 12, then build 13, then update?

I have no idea why this happens, really. We need somebody to confirm. You can try reinstalling, but if the problem is in the code somewhere, reinstalling is not going to work. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

if you used the one you find on the site, there might be some problems with that. the one on filefront also supposedly has problems the one you can get from pieter's site doesn't have. i'd reinstall if you're using the one from the anonymous site.
