So how can I do that? I have `XP-Home`

Hm, lets see if i can help yer, because i use a german version of win2k.

Open windows explorer and open their the "Extras" menu. (dont know how its called in english versions)
Select the point that may be called folderoptions.

A dialog appears where you switch to the tabpanel that may be called Views.
Their should be a checkbox for "switching off extensions for known filetypes".

incase anyone looks at this thread now , ive fixed the file so you have to extract the zip now, renaming will not work anymore
