Looking for english voice/text pack

Ahoy !

Just got the French version of Pirates.

Besides finding it out it doesn't offer a 1280*1024 res to keep up with my `ultra-uber`-rare 19"LCD monitor (hum...), the cinematics offer no voices and some basic FR text.

Anyone knows how and where I could swap for English version pack ?

Maybe someone likes to trade with you here in the community. If my french weren´t so awfull I´d trade with you. Perhaps you can sell this one at ebay and buy a new one from the money you get.

Just a note. It's not so rare, I have one, a 19" Mistubishi LCD. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Great monitor. This game and all others that I have look great on it. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

If your using Windows XP set your your operation system to English ('Regions and speech options'). The game will be in english than, at least it works with the german version. There is no spoken text (real voices) in this game, only firaxian gibberish.

- Didn't mean to actually "swap" my box, just download the english language pack.

- Been searching a bit more :

On some FR forums, the early buyers of the US version willing to reverse to FR language are posting about a "<b>lang0.fpk</b>" file.

And paste it into Crogram FilesFiraxis GamesSid Meier´s Pirates!Assets"

Weird thing though : the US version of lang.fpk is 370Ko while the FR one is 22.5mo.
