Cannot Confirm Looting fails

Well it was. There is gunsmith quest on Turks maybe I'll go try that and see if that might have been the trigger.

Seriously? The file named "options" in your main game folder was completely and utterly blank?
0 KB? Or at least if you open it with Notepad, nothing in there whatsoever?

That would DEFINITELY be something wrong. And then I'd for sure suspect Windows Security Stupidity (WSS*).
And if WSS is affecting the options file, there is no saying what other insanity it may cause. :shock

* = Even if nobody else uses that abbreviation, I'm going to KEEP ON DOING IT! :razz

It shows 10.5kb but it won't open.

It is indeed supposed to be small. And because it doesn't have an extension, Windows might be confused.
But you can still convince it to open with Notepad.

No but I deleted it I will try on the one that replaced it. Also I went back to an earlier save and went to Sao Jorge and replayed the whole thing and couldn't replicate the problem. So maybe much ado about nothing.
 
That problem with the F buttons no longer working is a random bug. If my memory is working the way to fix it is to go to a store and look at the items in your ships holds. That should get the F buttons working again.
 
So what's the latest news on this one? @Jason, have you had this recently now? How about anyone else?

If we don't get word on this by the end of the week, I'll archive it as "Cannot Confirm".
