Lugger VML

i moderated the voyage century forum as Robby Hood. unless other people were still on topic and it was just a couple people who were taking things off topic I didn't care about it. no reason to be an e:pig

this topic, started by me, was nothing more than a short statement saying that the lugger VML was a cool model and kudos to whoever did it. it really can't go any further than that on the topic, so it's left to this casual conversation. I'm surprised the thread has lasted this long, but I suppose as more people make more threads that actually have topics this one will die out and get lost in the next pages. till then, no reason to just bs if it's amusing.

course frankly I don't care either way \.

lol (recalls what ye said in the other thread) the point was that it's a dead end topic to begin with, was simply an acknowledgement of a fine model in teh game so that other who haven't seen it will check it out and those who made it get recognition and apreciated. the topic can't go any further than that, so ya have what we have here, mindless dribble that while pointless is to some degree, amusing, of course if it wasn't amusing we wouldn't still be posting in it. I honestly expected the thread to have dissapeered within a day or two not for it to keep going like this. But since it's not hurting anything or anyone, there's no reason for anyone to interfere with it, regardless if it's on the origional topic or not.

it is quite possible. now if yes is always negative, then no is always a positive, because no is the opposite of yes, except on fridays, and the equinox, and today is a saturday. so if ys answerd my question with a no, then you must assuredly are positive, wich means you do not agree with my point said in the post prior to you saying yes, wich means I may have to explain myself all over again >.>

lazy bumm you just didn't look hard enough -finds exactly 73 cents in this entire topic and goes off to buy some gum-
 
gum not rum XD my character doesn't drink, cause drinking gets a pirate killed. look at bartholomew roberts. had he made it so that only 1/3 of his crew were allowed to get drunk at any given time, they wouldn't have gotten caught =D but no, while he was smart enough to not drink, his crew wasn't and as a result when the swallow was upon them, they were too damn drunk to do anything and thus got their captain killed.
 
This thread has taken many turns. If drunk pirates be the topic now, as I said in another thread, there probably couldn't have been more of a drunken mess than Jack Rackham and his crew, who were so tanked they barely put up a fight when they were boarded and captured. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />
 
aye save the woman. once again, they were doing fine till they let themselves get drunk at sea. how stupid is that? ya only got 4 navies comming after you. they still might have made it though but a lucky shot from the pirate hunter's last broad side took out his main jib boom. had they not been drunk they would have been able to set sail long before the enemy got into range.

if i were a pirate captain I'd have a rule that while it was okay to drink, only 1/3 of the crew would be allowed to be intoxicated at any given time, the rest would have to accept the standard grog ration and it would have been for the common good.
