Map bug (positioning)

Hi there,
I tried finding someone with a similar issue. But I have been experiencing a bug with the map in the Maelstrom version of New Horizons. The Cargo destination icon is always messed up and points to somewhere in the middle of the sea, not an island. This also happens with my ship position when direct sailing or on land, but not on the world map. What could cause this and how do I make sure it's more consistent? I'm using a 2k monitor and already set the resolution to 1440p.

@Mirsaneli, did I understand correctly this is fixed now in MNH?

How about the coordinates for the right-click functionality?
I figured out where the problem is ages ago.
It's just a lot of work and potentially trial and error to restore the mismatch with your new WorldMap.

I'm going to have to copy my previous installation from my old laptop and do a proper WinMerge to see for myself the updates.

Alas, I don't know when I'll get to that.
At the moment I'm feeling sick because I tried to get drunk on the P&O ferry underway to the Whitby Pirate Festival.
 
The update file didn't work for me. My ship location is in Cozumel when I am in Barbados. I can't right click on Islands to get there information but it if right randomly close to an island I get information on that island.
