As far as the drivers go, the card is new. I just put it in just so we could play some of the games that needed a better card then the piece of junk that my mom had =). Starting to see why she dumped this thing on me in the first place. So getting the latest drivers off the website isn't a good idea?

If you just installed a new card, they you'll need to get new drivers.
I've had cases where the newest graphics driver causes some game not to work, and I had to go back to an older version of the driver. But a later version of the graphics driver solved the problem. Yeah, go ahead and get the new graphics driver.
In all the time I spent as an online Helper at GameSpy (about 8 months) I only told two people to upgrade their graphics drivers. They had specific problems that were known issues with certain older drivers. I think this is the third time ever I've told someone to upgrade a graphics driver. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

If your computer is a Packard Bell or a bottom-of-the-line Dell, then attach a chain to it. It's a boat anchor.
