Hey, i was just wondering on how to change some stuff around so that i can start off with more money!

any help would be great.

In BuildSettings.dat (if you are using Alpha 7, otherwise it is BuildSettings.h) find the line:

#define START_MONEY 1000
// The amount of money your party has at gamestart, to pay the expedition's expenses

#define START_WEALTH 500
// The amount of your personal wealth at gamestart

Change either one to whatever you like, and then you are set.
