Morgan, Kidd, & Treasure Fleet

As for Morgan & Kidd, I can't seem to find them. Where have you constantly found them???

As for the Treasure Fleet, no matter how many months a spend circling around Puerto Bello, I never see it. So where is it???

There is no FLEET per se. What you should find is various single treasure galleons. You will not find a "FLEET" of say.. 8 treasure galleons all sailing in the same convoy. But, you may find 2 treasure galleons sailing in the same direction, but you must attack them one by one.

At least in my gaming experience this is the case..

So all of those single Treasure ships I've picked off was the <b>"Fleet"</b>.
That sucks. At least in the original, when you attacked a town/port when it was there or intercepted it at sea off the Florida Keys, you at least got recognition for it--<b>"You've captured the Treasure Fleet/Silver Train!!!"</b>

Yes, as far as *I* know. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I have been playing almost nonstop since Nov 24 and I have never encountered a "fleet" like the original Pirates <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Talk to the bartenders and the lady next to him, they will give info on the pirates. Sometimes, although very rare i presume, you'll just come across them. Thats how I killed Morgan. I had just killed Blackbeard and there he was sailing around.

It seems they've stopped giving that info out to me. Bartenders just tell about a certain govs daughter or take me to a fugitve. Barmaids tell me about which ship to attack or info on Baron Raymondo since Montalban is out of the picture.

Actually, I think you may see a fleet of treasure ships once in a while, but usually it's just a ship or two. I don't think they're supposed to act as the treasure fleet though. Because I've seen single french or english treasure ships too.

In the original, you could actually capture the Treasure Fleet at high sea as well, it was a number of galleons in one area, each of those carrying about 10,000 Gold. I guess it´s the same in the new one as well.

I finally tracked down Kidd. Unfortunately after dividing plunder for the 5th time, I was forced into retirement. Morgan eluded me in my first game. Lasted 29 years at sea with the job of governor of Guadeloupe.

Ive caught four treasure galleons totalling about 19000 gold between Havana and St Augustine the other day. hehe I know what you mean. sometimes they're so juicy I cap a few and realize I'm left w/10 men on my sloop and have to limp home.
