My game freezes after 30 minutes of play

I can play for 30 minutes and it goes fine, but after 30 minutes of play the game freezes and i have to reboot.
I got P4 2.8GHz, 512 RAM and Radeon 9800 Pro.
 
try to updated your video card drivers from omegadrivers.net instead of ati's website. That should fix the problem.
 
Remember that word <b>"Should"</b>, don't be surprised if it doesn't make any difference at all.

I've only ever used Omega drivers for years now, and Pirates! still crashes after a certain period of play, it's almost as if the game is heating the chip up, inducing the same effect as overclocking too high.

There are several reasons why a game / prog runs on one pc and crahses on another. It could never be false to keep your drivers / software up to date. Maybe there are some other things wrong with your pc and / or your OS.
