I had already for like a half year the AOP.rar file on my computer. I wanted to try back then but none of the tricks I did worked. Yesterday was the first time that I played AOP (can't blame me cuz it's their own fault making them people waiting so long and making them play with the release date). Ok, so far so good. The interface is quit good, as you all have seen from screens. I think in that direction it outstands POTC. Anyway I have played it for like 2 hours and I must say that I regret it a lil'bit (waste of time). The game 'world' is extremely limited! Remember the invisible boundries from POTC?? Well, it's now like 1000x worse. You can almost only walk on the paths they directed, and in most of the city's where the beach is 1 meter from the port, is the water unable for accesing. So some stupid walls prevent you to go into the water, don't ask me why you should walk in the water but hey?! I think you'll catch my point when you got them game yourself.
What I personally completly don't understand is why they can't make the "invisible walls" fitting to the scale models. I mean, they litteraly rushed through the game with this and it feels like they added the "walk space" on the last day of developing! Seriously guys, you can forget about the so-called "freedom" feeling in the game cuz it sucks big time...
more to come!
ahh, topic title is spelled wrong, bust be "review" of course! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
