My sailors dont want to reload

Hello my ship is the Cinco Galias and I have like 104 sailors on it. I have enought ammo and the reload speed is pretty good. My cannoneer is Ogle (the one you get from peter blood's intro) and he is like level 11. The problem is that after a few shots the sailors just dont want to reload anymore, i have seen how the reloading meter stops just a few moments after it started to reload and I have enough ammo to reload. Then if I use the reload commands to use another type of ammunition then hte sailors just reload the left side but its speed is very slow (like if I had 4 sailors on the ship). what is going on?
 
I guess you mean the Araballa ship?

That normally means you only have enough ammo to load some of the guns and not all, when your crew are asked to load all the guns the reload time increases because your asking them to reload a lot of guns (52 or 54 guns if its the Arabella). Switch to another shot type and use that, you'll see all guns load as normal till they too run low on ammo.
 
I have switched the type of ammo and i had like 1k of each type of ammo and it is still slow. And I misspelled the name of the ship it is the Cinco Liagas, the one you get from peter blood intro quest.

Man this time I tried to fight with almost 300 sailors, and 1k of each type of ammo and I still have the same problem.

I have the 3.15 mod. But I have sinked like one or two ships before and I had no problems. Oh well I edited some values in the engine file I think, I wanted to activate the debug window but as I said I have fighted agains another ships before and I had no problems.
 
Ok well this is a new problem for 3.1.5 because the rat fix is already included in the mod. Did this cannon reload problem start after editing the files or was it doing it before you edited the files?

Also which files did you edit?
 
Well this problem started after editing the files but it started long time after editing the files. I just got the problem yesterday and I edited the files in the weekend. I edited the engine.ini file in the age of pirates folder, I changed the debugwindow=0 to debugwindow=1. I edited the _mod_on_off.h and changed the bettatestmode function from "off" to "on".
And I edited the characters.ini file in the program folder. I changed the starting money from 20k to 99M. But I didnt use that money because I am playing with peter blood and the corsairs starts without money.
 
I honestly can't think of any reason for the cannons not to reload if you have plenty of ammo for the shot type your trying to load. The changes you have made wouldn't effect the cannons from reloading at all. Can you upload a copy of your saved game please, I can look at that and test it out.

To locate your saved games, go into the games directories and you will see a folder called saves, its in there. There should be a folder with the name you used when you first started the game. Example, Age of Pirates 2\SAVE\Drake == my saved game.

Upload the folder for the saved game and then i will test it out. :onya

Hahaha, why didn't i think of it. You don't have enough gun powder stored onboard your ship. You only have 104 units of it.
 
O_O man I forgot you needed powder to fire the cannons. Well thank you very much for your patience and your help :rolleyes:
