The reason why the relations you have when you start the game are always the same, is because it was always like that, even in the stock game, and we never modified that. Until the Build 14 Alpha version, that is. In that version there is a Random Startup Relations mod by Pirate_KK that, when turned on, will give the player random starting relations instead of the preset ones.

i would love if the navy career would be more a part of the game! making in more worth to join a navy, like getting the command of a fleet of high class ships. (as the only possibility to command class 1 ships)

Something like that is done in the Build 14 Alpha version. In Build 13 you can only buy ships that you have a high enough character level for. In Build 14 Alpha, when you want to buy a navy ship, you also need to have a Letter or Marque and the required navy rank. Otherwise you can't buy navy ships. However, you <i>can</i> still capture them.

Pieter, we need to get Build 13 and 14 posts into their own forum subtopics, just like we did with Build 12 and 13.

Yes, we do. Build 14 Alpha is still in Alpha stage, so posts related to that should go on the Build Alpha & Brainstorming forum and not on the main Build forum. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

<b>What do you guys thinking about the improvemets for a navy career</b>, like new quests? talking to the Gov. should give you more options than only pirate hunting?!

Nice idea, of course. But the problem with that idea, like with all other feature suggestions, is that we need somebody to code it in. The PotC modding community works in a way that each modder just does what he/she wants to, so if no modder actually wants to code this in, it will not be coded in. So to get it done, you'd either need to get a modder's interest or become a modder yourself.
