New Islands...where are they?

Hello all,
I've had the POTC game for quite a while now and have heard various rumors that the in game map of the islands can be replaced with an authentic map of real carribbean islands...is this so and does that interfere with the tasks and gameplay. Also where would I get this mod and how to install it. Sad to say this mod has not been released yet <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" /> ,but try downloaded the build 11,check it out in the mod section <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

not true, i'm afraid. perhaps this stems from the info akella have released about sea dogs 2? apparently it'll be based in the real caribbean. (and yet they still spell portuguese names wrong. "curacao" they call it. CURACAO. :x )
