NOTE: I forgot to save the last change in lighting on v0.5, so I am uploading a v0.5.1 with the fix. Because they are only scripts, I uploaded the whole file again.

Hello there, I have recently came back to NH and was feeling the ships being too awkward, too slow and too irresponsive compared to real life sailing, so I decided to take upon myself the mission of reworking the Sailing physics and speed calculations, feel free to give feedback.

All Changes
-Derived Beam and Close hauled(Derived from Beam) speed from Closest Point. (Good ships are good)
-Removed Offset from "Good" Close hauled angle. (Good ships against wind are good)
-Redone Rigtype curves for all rigs, multiple rigs under same category, every ship type should perform slightly different and have different best sailing angles.
-Redone wind speed calculation, weaker winds propel the ship more, strong winds saturate.
-Added Modifier for shipweight on Windspeed calc, heavier ships perform worse at weaker winds but better with strongwinds. (Mimics big vs small ships performance)
-Shipweight is affected by Cargo, if you want to be fast, travel light.
-Added Hull Drag, based off Closest Point. Ships with better hulls can accelerate better at high winds, prevents unrealistic speeds.
-Added rigtype to all ships.
-Reworked Closest and Bestpoints of all ships to use Rigtypes instead.
-Reworked ship upgrades. Diminishing returns after 14 Speedrate. (( Ex: Black Pearl 16.0 Speedrate goes to 16.98 with upgrades))
-Added Hull Drag to Arcade to prevent extrapolation due to Wind changes.
-Altered how drag works regarding upgraded ships/base ships. You are not building a new Hull, so it makes sense. (Upgrades are still meaningful)
-Altered Arcade Multiplier to 1.0 because it doesn't need to multiply speed anymore.

-Breathing wind. Wind no longer jumps from one state to the other, instead it acelerates from states and oscilates. no more jumps from 5 to 20kn in a second
-Oscilating wind (now working), removed random wind rotation, now it rotates gradually.
-Lowered fog start, kept far fog to hide floating islands and LOD.
-Changed how the sun interacts with the models and the islands, should prevent glowing in the dark completely.
-Rain and Storms can be triggered locally.
-Completely reworked system with memory, seasons and personality.
-Skyboxes are now tied to Sunset e Sunrise instead of hour.
-Sunset and Sunrise should be smoother to the engine limits.
-Reworked lighting, looks much better now and create actual shadow on characters.
-Local Storms can be promoted to the worldmap.
-Wind angles are more consistent, removed randomness and lowered the maximum an angle can jump from +45º/-45º to 4,6º.

-Fixed bug in Tales of Sea Hawk quest, on Rheims house that cause the game to hang.
-Fixed error on Spyglass for ships with Captains without a face picture.
-Fixed Smuggling sell prices being lower than export buy.
-Fixed Store not recalculating based on how many goods are available.
-Fixed Colony Manager screen reverting taxes everytime it was open.
-Fixed Lighting and added different lighting values for Island and Sea, to compensate for lightmaps.

Arcade continues ignoring rigtypes and angle speed, so it performs better, difference is roughty 20%.

Instalation:
Simply drop/extract the file inside your game folder and replace.

Obs: Do not use with any other version of the game, they are not compatible as a dropin solution.

We already know from other threads that B15 has different sailing physics to B14 and that ships do not have correct performance in B15. So this may be correcting a problem which is not in B14. However, I'll download it, give it a good workout, and see if it improves B14 ship performance, damages B14 ship performance, or breaks B14 sailing entirely.
 
Updated the mod, fixed what was broken, added new weather/lightning for download. (This just reverts and works upon old wind system from B14 that was broken in MNH)
