OK, Old Salt is correct. I might not have been enforcing all the rules over the time of this thread, but it should be like "dealers choice". The rules are set, but not in stone.
You can be forgiven, but not just by be. It must be by the word starter.

The wrong answers are limited to five.
Correct answers are unlimited. (unless they are vowels)
Vowels cost you two incorrect answers.
