newb questions about build 12

okey I got some question about the new build m'kay...

Why the heck cant I talk to anybody? okey I can talk to most, but at the very start of game fx I cant talk to the merchant up on the docks! WHY?

plzz - I really want to get startet again...

No serious! whats wrong with the dialog??? People have been asking this in other threads, too, so it's probably not been solved yet. Are you playing the european version?
