Nigel Blythe problem

Hi!

First of all, this has been the best version of the mod! The game hasnt crashed even once, every quest this far has worked perfectly and i've played about 15-20 hours. This is the first problem I encountered:

I accepted the Nigel Blythe quest for the first time, instead of the Artois Voisey quest. After recruiting him I went to Port Royale and nothing happened (Speightown has been recaptured). I loaded my game and tried to set him as my officer and docked in Port Royale again, once again nothing happened. Wiki says "talk to self on jetty", I guess that should be automatic after arrival to Port Royale?

I also tried doing few more main quests to try to trigger the jetty thingy but that didnt help.

When you arrive at Port Royale use the Port option to go straight to the jetty ( not Moor ) - Moor can cause problems when something happens the moment you land at a port or a shore

The first thing that happens on the jetty is a dialog screen of you saying to yourself about Nigel leaving the ship - The Quest Book should also update.

Best thing to do - go back to a save before you arrived at Port Royale - set Nigel as an officer and try again


QUESTION - Do you have Edgar Attwood - The Port Royale jailer as an officer / companion ?

Since Edgar has a sidequest that may sometimes interfere with Nigels.

I tried reloading but that wont help, but I do in fact, have Edgar as my companion and i havent done his quest yet

ninjaedit: I tried completing Edgar quest in order to get Nigel to do his thing in Port Royale, it didnt work. I also tried reloading a savegame before taking Nigel quest, completing Edgar quest first, taking Nigel quest and going to Port Royale and still nothing happens . Something else must be messing the quest.

During the Edgars quest somehow bridgetown fort became hostile for me, I had to reload few times and sail at sea for few days before the fort "calmed down" :. After Edgar had went to tavern, I lost the ability to fast travel and to speak to anyone. Fortunately after defending Edgars honor in the tavern I could fast travel and speak to people again.
