ntdll.dll error?

The game crashes in the early stages and I get this error. The furthest I have goten is to the nearest town... Once... Any thoughts?

ntdll.dll is the nt layer module. to fix it you could try entering BIOS then reducing down the agp speed and also make sure PCI delay is set to 0

This is the most common thing that causes this error on 2k/nt/xp systems

This is gonna sound like a stupid question, but I am having the same problem, and how exactly do I access BIOS?

We are having the same problem too.. Here is the exact error

AppName: pirates!.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 000122ba

I also am having the same problem. Can we perhaps determine what things we have in common, in order to try to track down the problem?

I am running a Russian/English version of the game on a Dell P4 3.0 with 1 Gig of ram and onboard video. I am running the game under Windows XP with Service Pack 2. the computer has Hyperthreading.

Anyone else care to share?
