Officers work for...free?

I'm playing the base "Beta 1 + Fix" and I am well within the game now, but I just realized that I'm not shelling out any money for officers. I asked one of the officers my financial status and I am projected to owe $27,000 for the crew and $40,000 for officers per month, but I only end up paying what I owe the crew at the end of the month. I highly doubt my officers are that generous and are happy working for free

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is it a known problem?

I dont know how the system works to get crew pay Im afraid, but we have been getting a lot in error.log about it, maybe its the officer pay that is causing it

I had read the crew pay issue in the bug forums, but I did not think it was related to my issue. I haven't had any error logs come up, and I have no error.log file in my directory at all. Do you know which file controls the crew/officer salaries? I wouldn't mind taking a look at it.
