<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Will Age of Pirates include land-based aspects, similar to Pirates of the Caribbean, or will it focus more on the sea-based action similar to Sea Dogs?
While defining the concept of Age of Pirates, we discussed land adventures like exploring jungles, etc. But we wanted to make the game close to Sea Dogs and keep naval battles and sailing the main feature of the game. So, we shortened the land-based parts to what is really related to pirates and ships, excluding the other, more purely adventure aspects. We hope players who wanted to walk through jungles will forgive us for that. ;-)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
well, just like the titel said... age of pirates doesn't contains exploring-land/beaches/jungles :S .. for me this is reallly a big dissapointing, and I'm not going to buy buy aop anymore.. damn!.. seadogs was fun but still.. the land feature as we know in POTC was much!! more fun.. there where more possibility's/freedom instead of always walking between the city gates :S and sea fighting is getting bored by the time, my question to the developers.. why taking out the good parts of a game instead of inplanting good things <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> ?? ok, there are some good points that are improved comparing with POTC.. but only a few and that is now fall into nothing because of no-explorations.. so I stick to the build 12 for potc.. I think that the build contains much more good items then aop.. I was really hoping for aop till I read the Q&A on the front site.. pfffff <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" />
I thought.. finally! a good complete pirate game that would give you the feeling that your actually in that age of time.. but no <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> .. oh well, too bad.. then we should pray that sea dogs 4 will do the save (but I think not)
