Patches for POTC

Were there any patches issued by Akella/Bethesda for the first POTC? I am reinstalling the game and want to be sure I have the latest patched version before downloading the mods. Any info on patches will be appreciated. I have tried to access the original POTC website with no success. The Bethesda website has a button for the original website, but it takes you to the POTC 2 website.

There are no official patches. Build Mods is basically all you get.

I got the wrong emotion icon! I guess that is part of why I got beached. Can't remember enough to get things right.

Build Mod 12.1 is a good one to start with.

Any 'updates' that were done to the game, are included in that build mod (and subsequently included in all builds following).

I can't say for sure what 11 or 10 are like, as I skipped those.

I recall there was once a patch for the Polish version of the game, but the fixes in that version have been included in the Build 13 Beta version a long time ago.

All other patching and fixing has been done by the modders here and is included in the Build mods. I never tried Build 10, but Build 11 worked very well for me, as does Build 12.1. Build 13 contains a couple of weird bugs still, but most of the worst ones are fixed now and I reckon it's mostly playable by now. I am considering releasing the final Build 13 on very short notice, whether we manage to fix the final bugs or not. Otherwise progress will be pretty much halted, which would be a shame. I want to have some new opportunity for new mods.
