Peter Blood: The Beginning (No I mean the VERY beginning)

Hmm ok, so I bought CoAD today, after being inspired to do so by playing the Build Mod for PotC (Which is awesome, I might add. It's added countless hours to it's playability.) I figured I might as well start as the English dude, like I always do on these 17th/18th century games...

Ok so anyway after starting I get talked to by a dude called Pitt, blah blah, I run in the house talk to the butler, blah blah run upstairs go to the bed, blah blah. Then all of sudden I'm teleported downstairs, with no idea what to do, no ability to talk to the butler or anything. Confused I minimize the game and come on here and look for a walkthrough, after rummaging around I find one that states I should leave the room, pick up a key on my left and go grab a sword and gun from the balcony and then some soldier come in. Reinfused with desire to play the game I go back on the game and follow the instructions. However as I exit the room, and look to the left I find that there is no key on the table, or apparantley anywhere else in the house or it's surrounding grounds. After 10-15 minutes of searching I give up... Can someone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong, or if my game is bugged? TBH though to have a game breaking bug this early on... You'd think they'd have found it. Is it worth me carrying on or do I give up and accept the loss of £20?

When u get out of the room, the key is at the bottom of the stairs, at the right side on table. But why u need the weapon so much, after 5min quest turns u into slave, just let the guards to fight u <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> U cant defeat them and the "captain" is undead <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> And use the walktrough until u are not slave again, cause this part of game is hard, also read my comment on the walktrough <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Key won´t appear unless you´ve spoken with the butler and Pitt has hide on the chimney.... just look at the butler close and left click.
Firs time was a bit confusing also... but PeterBlood campaign has been adviced on the game intentionally for experiencced players, if it´s your first try and you´re not very used to the game basics and tutorial thingies that the other 2 characters bring blame yourself, not the game.

<b>BEST REGARDS</b>

Ohhhhh I see... Now I feel like such an idiot... I didn't realise spacebar wasn't how you interact with someone... My problem was just I was pressing the wrong button to talk to the butler... Haha...

Ok well thanks for clearing that up for me quickly guys. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
