Pirate with Nimbus?

Hi folks,

I noticed some very funny behaviour of Pirates! during sword duels.
From time to time, it seems that my character has a nimbus! Please have a look at these pictures:

Did you notice it, too? If this is by design, does it have a meaning?

The spinning halo happens when your character or the enemy is dizzy from something they did.

I suspect the the visual effects on Blackbeard above are just the result of his movement.. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

The nimbus is normal. It depends to the Vorteil/Advantage.
Is the advantage for you, your opponent have the nimbus.
Is the advantage against you, you have the nimbus.
The result is, that the guy with the nimbus moves slower than the other.

Aye mate,that appears after yer opponent taunts ye,ya can do the same te him by press'n 6 key to taunt him so he gets nimbus,it also increases yr crew moral <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
