PS Pieter: Data2.slb is on the ftp. It took me FOUR hours to download! 66,3 MB in FOUR hours! The overall download speed was 5,9 kb per second.

How can you extract this data2.slb?
 
It seems to be AutoCAD Slide Library (see <a href="http://filext.com/file-extension/SLB" target="_blank">here</a>), but since I didn't download it I can't say nothing more. Besides, I don't have AutoCAD so I can't say about it anything more.

I think it's a special SLiB mod file format, but it can be installed using the accompanying setup.exe file. All the SLiB mod files are now up on the <a href="http://pafiles.com/potc/SLiB%20Mod/" target="_blank">FTP</a> for quick download. It seems there is no new stuff in there we were not already aware of.

I've put the Boarding Musket (it's now my favorite weapon in the game) and the Flintlock (that's what it looks like to me - it's a slimmer version of the long musket we have now) in the game. Also, I've worked up some new interface pix for the SLiB weapons we added a month or so ago - got them from several of these files - and they are much better quality.

I'll put these updates on the FTP when we get to a version of the "bug testing" project that will allow it.

Can anybody download the new Brig and weapons from <a href="http://legend.seaward.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=6374&view=findpost&p=201056" target="_blank">this</a> page and put them on the FTP? Thomas the Terror and me both have trouble downloading them. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I can download the brig, but very slowly. Where should I put it?

The russians are very funny. Just got a nice virus in. Because I am foreign traffic, I had to download a timer for a sponsor-site, I had to download in order to obtain the real file. I am out of patience. Sorry.
 
That is sick. Couldn't you download from the Rapidshare site? Usually that works fine without virusses or anything. Only for me I get a "page can't load" message.

They don't like our mod? I made a new flagall file for myself based on Merciless Mark's flags and the Russian ones. See attached. What do you think?

I think this French flag only exists since the French revolution (1789). For the others, I like (especially the Spanish flag).
