A total waste of money..........

<i><span style='`font-size`:19pt;`line-height`:100%'>Strategy guides like this prima one RUIN the game.
They take all the fun, surprise and discovery out of the game. They are SO analytical, they turn any good game into an exam test `swat-back`.
I `speed-read` one for another game in a shop once, not long after buying the game. There was no point in playing the game after reading that guide, & I never did, it's at the back of the drawer & will stay there. </i> </span>

In a game like Pirates! where it is not too technical or complicated, these guides do little to assist the gamer. But on some of these huge wargames with many different races/technologies &tc, it is sometimes good to have a guide like this to help you keep things straight!

hmm i dunno why u resurrect this post but yes u can but as a skill i go for fencer and either forget about dancing or let a trainer do the work for u like me i am bad in dancing
