Problem after installing

Ok since I see no instructions on the correct installation of AOP with the Supermod heres how I did it.

AOP installation and then the AOPSupermod 1.1 and updates 1 through 4.

Now when playing the problem Im having is batttles at sea.When I go to fire my cannon at hostile ships it seems I fire 50 cannonballs from my small ship and my ships getting damaged from my own fire!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> Then my guns will not reload at all.So what did I do wrong here? Please let me know the correct installation and now with the 1.5 patch out should that be installed now as well?
