Problem in the quest of City of Abandoned Ships

hi! i have a problem in the quest of City of Abandoned Ships! I have killed the gangs,that Arno told me and now I have to speak to the mechanic (henric vedeker) ... But when i speak to him nothing happens...Arno died and i don't know what i have to do know!!!!
What can I do know??????

sound u hv diff path wit me,,, couse my arno not dead(for now)

as i know after u found that mechanic, u have to buy corvate from him about 1500k and try to find gear undersea... (i here now)

I followed your path too but i hadn't results...!Must I speak first with the mechanic to buy corvate????

Yes....Starting Money,Starting Stats = All 10,Starting Sword, Spyglass, And Pistol,Starting Ship
But in my character are only Starting Money and Starting Stats = All 10!!!

Any edits like that to the RPGUtilite file shouldn't effect quests.

I guess you need to speak with the machanic and buy the Corvette and then search for the gear.
