Problem with being boarded

Well Pieter I still have the problem, I reinstalled whole POTC and installed build 12 + pre build 13 and no further updates but if I board with a big ship I can't get back... If I board with a little ship (lugger)everything works fine and I can back to sea but with a big ship (fleut & frigate ect.) I can't get back...

if you installed with the 3(or 5) august update - there's the boarding bug (i guess).as for the
texture if the file is there , then :

1. directX /video board drivers/virtual memory/others settings problem
or
2. wrong installation(even if the file is there smth else is messed up).

I would go for the first.Note that that's my opinion only, carefull what you do don't blame me
if you do smth and everything goes wrong.

uninstall everything, then install stock PoTC, then build 12.1, then pre build 13, then the 19th of July update and it might be fixed, if not... then redCorsair is right, your graphics card might not be good enough...

if the game runs , that should work, but some drivers have some problems with some DirectX versions.(some-some-some)

thanks for the advice, I have direct X 9.0c and a 128 mb videocard (geforce) so I don't think that's the problem but I shall look for the problem..

I have installed the direct X update and everything works fine now...
The texture of the deck works and I can board now. Further I haven't done anything else then installed the direct X update

well, I tried 2 times and the first time the deck worked just fine but the second time it was a deck without texture again and I didn't change anything meanwhile. So the file is there but doesn't work correctly <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
