Question about size

After i installed the Build mod.
And i start a new game,then when i talk to someone the letters are so small i almost cant read them. how do i change that(Font size right??)

And i more thing how do you change the start money :cheers

Welcome aboard. I am not sure about the font size, but to change money:

Open your POTC program file, and find and open the notepad file BuildSettings.h.

Scroll down to start parameters and find the gold and change it.

Remember to save the new file. Start a new game..

You can change your name, level, and starting ship.

to change the font size:

open RESOURCEINIfonts.ini

search for all the lines that begin with "pcscale"

increase the pcscale value (personally i like 0.8; if you set it to 1 that would make it the same size as in the unmodded version)

to change your starting PARTY money, open PROGRAMBuildSettings.h, find the value called something like "startingmoney" (not 100% sure of that name) and change it. when you start a new game your party will have that much money.

(and while you're in buildsettings.h, i may as well tell you that if you want to start off with a manowar, you should change the "startingship" value (again not 100% sure of that name but it's something similar to that) to { return "Manowar_gub"; }.)

to change your starting PERSONAL money, open PROGRAMCharacterscharacter_init.c, find the section that defines the main character (look for "blaze"), and further down, look for the value ".wealth"; change this to whatever you want. when you start a new game your character will have that much personal money.

I cant find anything with pcscale in it very strange

The file i found was named fonts_rus.ini that one does has pcscale thing in it
Should i change that one

i changed the one you said but i only needed to do it 3 times is that correct??

fonts.ini is the file you should change, unless you are playing in RUSSIAN.

The line numbers are: 508, 690, and 1162. Yes, three times.

sorry mate, just read your post... the file is fonts.ini and yep, you should find "pcscale" in there three times <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> fonts_rus.ini has no effect if you are using the build. hope that helps!
