Question regarding Dialogs

It just got me - I started some bugfixing ... but for that I need to understand how certain things work together. Let's start with the Dialogs:

In the Program/dialogs/ folder there are plenty C and header files. As far as I can see it the header files can all be removed, right? Because the headers are in the chosen language folder - in general /Program/dialogs/english. So far correct?

I also noticed at several other directories duplicate files with different versions, which is very confusing if you try to work into the source code. If someone has a clear structure of all directories available as they SHOULD be, I would really appreciate sharing it. Maybe I will clean up the directories before starting to mod/bugfix ... so I'd provide a Clean.bat file or something <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

With "header files", you mean the dialog.h files in the main PROGRAM\DIALOGS folder, right? They can be removed. I thought that RunMe.bat actually did remove those, as well as some other unnescessary files. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

yes, I mean these *.h files. I removed them and it seems to be fine.

BTW: I just fixed the Tutorial. Whom do I send the files to in order to have the bugfix in the next Patch/Mod?

Re the .h files in the Pirates of the Caribbean\PROGRAM\DIALOGS file

What version were you running? I have several versions of the program and have just checked. I don't have any .h files in that directory.
Perhaps what Pieter said about the RunMe.bat does have an effect as I have always run that.

Thank you ... I think I'll send to Pirate_KK my fixes.

Can be the Runme.bat files. I left them out and moved all files by hand, because the Runme.bat screwed up my last installation. I think they're not completely compatible to all language versions. Anyway I just removed the header files. Thanks for the answers.
