Oh no, we know that Pieter went on the account with a sizable fleet <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wavarr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":warr" border="0" alt="wavarr.gif" /> and rumor has it he sacked the treasure city of Maracaibo <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" /> and came back into port with a boatload of swag. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" /> But other pirates were after that haul so he sailed off and hid it somewhere in the Caribbean. We've been after it ever since. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p2" border="0" alt="pirate3.gif" />
 
Sounds like a port-by-port search is in order <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> . Is there any other members on here trustworthy enough to join in the search? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_confused.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="icon_confused.gif" />
 
Those of us who thought we could depend on each other to search together and fend off other interlopers were soon at each others throats. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/slap.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":slap" border="0" alt="slap.gif" /> We did manage to sink another pirate vessel that was closing in on an island where we thought the treasure was buried but after sinking that wreck everything pretty much fell apart and it was every man for himself. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
 
Did you or anyone else manage to land on the island? If you did, what did you find? If you didn't, do you still remember the island's location - maybe that's where the new search should start from.
 
We do need to go back to the island. Unfortunately I've been stranded on a raft since my ship was blown out from under me and I've drifted with the currents far away from the shore while the others have been engaged in battle amongst themselves. I do agree though that we need to get back to the island and have a thorough search. Pieter has maintained that his treasure is not there but that may be a ruse to lead us off the trail of it.
