Request to everyone releasing mods/bugfixes lately

Hello all,

I have been away for a couple of days and have some catching up to do. Can everyone who made mods or bugfixes lately please post them here, so that I won't miss them? Also: I've seen several bugfixes being posted as text on the forum. If possible, can you people send the fixed files to me at <a href="mailto:pieter_boelen@planet.nl">pieter_boelen@planet.nl</a> or upload them onto the FTP (see below)? That would make merging a lot easier for me and would decrease the chance of me messing up or completely forgetting to add in some mods or bugfixes. <b>Note to everyone using the FTP:</b>

I put the following on ftp.

1. "Petros Manowar.zip"
All files and instructions for the "Manow50_gub" including updated rigging.

2. "Pirate Corvette.zip"
All files and instructions for the "Corvette6_50" including large flag and changed stats.



I am working on the "Privateer" "SloopofWar_50" and hope to be finished in a week.

Thank you. I am waiting with adding in the new ship models though. I first want to get the modpack itself working acceptably, before adding them in. I can't work much on it today though, but I will try to get a new version (without translation mod, in the hope that that fixes some bugs) made in couple of days (weeks? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> ).

Suggestion: Why not take this december modback, add to it only bugfixes that are already made for it.
call it pre13 and after a month or so additional bugfixin and testplaying call it build 13. take nothing away
from it and add nothing?? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> = no problem way to 13.

EDIT: Then you can add a mod to 13 only when it works ok
So first beta test in beta = mod looks good make special test upgrade to 13 = good =13.002 etc.
Not good = back to previous 13 =13.001 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> What do you think?? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
Just a very small rain bugfix:

Locations[n].lockWeather = "Alcove"; Tutorial deck in QuestLocations

SetNextWeather("Blue Sky"); under case "Tut_start": in both_reactions

resets the weather in Oxbay to "normal" (rain possible)
yes it´s here not in arrival to Oxbay (will be too late)

Just a reminder.
Manow50_gub and Corvette6_50 are already in the modpack.

These would replace existing files so the DL would not be any greater.
The Corvette6_50 does have stat changes however.
 
I will add those improved versions in, Petros. I will wait with the other new ships though. Those will be added in some time later; probably in a couple of weeks or so. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

like what? is it faster or slower?
i was planning to take on the black pearl at the end of the game and see how much faster the black pearl or pirate corvette really is.

As there are no 16's in the real cannon mod, only in the stock game, which is covered on line 342,

Line 241 of Cannons_init.c should be changed to read:
Cannon_Calibers[4] = 18;
 
That one was fixed ages ago, wasn't it? What version of the mod are you using? I think that fix wasn't in the November version, but is in the latest version. Later today, I will make an update for the November version that does include that fix. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
I released today

-Improved Yellow and black frigate MM

-Flagpack containing a major bugfix on "red ensign" that diseapperead and is now included in "flag pack"

-Improved version of "Darker deck guns" with a new door and slightly darker guns

-Sound mod, a set of various sounds to enhance the ambiance of the game

Where do you I get these? Have you tested them in the build? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
I've put them on the ftp, <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> i'm using a version of the build released one or two month ago, the most stable one.
